I'm having a 5 hour GTT for the first time because I think I have reactive hypoglycemia. I can't go more than 3 hours without eating, and sometimes after 2 hours I start feeling hot and dizzy. If I go too long I start feeling like I'm going to pass out. I'm just nervous about only being able to drink this sugar drink once and not have anything again for 5 hours. I also feel very nauseous if I go too long without eating.

Hi - I just went for the same test on Friday - after an hour and one half they shut the test down because my sugar level dropped below 60 (mine was 51) - they told me to bring glucose tablets along for this possibility - tqo tablets and I was back on track and ate a dietary breakfeast - good luck - Tom
