View Full Version : Light colored stools

This is for a 17 month old. I am wondering if I should be concerned, the parents don't seem to be. She was barely 4lbs when she was born and is now 17 months old, but the size of a 8 month old. She is only 18lbs and has been that since I started watching her 6 months ago. Early last month she had white poo for two days, I immediately notified the parents and told them I was concerned. They said they took her to the doc, but I don't believe them. The stools are no longer white, but light tan and soft (mushy) and it is the same every day and has been for a month now. I only watch her 1-2 days a week so I don't get to feed her all week long so I don't know what she eats. I am afraid that the parents aren't feeding her much, that they are only giving her milk bottles. Any suggestions.
