Ok. I'm new to all this stuff but I think I ate a dinner that is going to cause me problems tonight.. I think I should sleep on some extra pillows... Is that what you all mean by elevating your bed or do you mean elevating the bed? If so, how do I elevate it?? What do I put between the mattress and box springs? Thanks:confused:

The elevation doesn't have to be too high but you have the wrong idea of where you elevate it from. You elevate it from the floor. If you bed is on a frame you would want to put about 3 to 4 inches under the bed legs...what you use is books or folded up cardboard or wood or whatever you have that will support the bed without flattening whatever out. They actually sell special leg boosts in places like bed, bath and beyond or whatever. also online. If your mattress is resting on the floor you would do the same thing but books would probably work better or something that won't slip out from floor/mattress. unfortunately if you share your bed that person will be elevated as well. I think you would want something like a 30degree elevation...I think something not too severe. good luck.
