OK i'm a 28 year old women so this is more then likely nothing but just going to ask anyway about 3 days ago i was sick all day with the flu not throwing up just going to the bathroom all day and my stool was very watery then the next day i felt better but my stool was still a little watery but i noticed black pieces in my stool and the color of my stool was yellowish so i waited another day and my stool is still not back to normal still watery and still a few black pieces well today i woke up and went to the bathroom and not much came out it was kinda clear liquid like and very very pale pink color like blood but not sure if it was anyway will go see doctor but would like a little help to know what i'm dealing with if anything so please if anyway can help

Hi..the black pieces could be undigested foods, partially broken down but with no time to become part of a formed stool.

Colour changes could have something to do with what "bug" you picked up, what you ate/drank, floral changes in the digestive tract..etc.

The pink could be from what you drank or it could be from bleeding....If that continues, don't wait...go see a doctor and have him do stool samples to check to see what it is you have and give you appropriate meds if you need them.

I would suggest you start a probiotic...there are many different kinds to choose from...the first one I ever tried was from Jamieson..but I now use Protec from Natural Factors. It will help get the gut flora more balanced and hopefully outnumber the ones that have taken over ... that gave you the diarrhea.

Are you the only one in your family/area/workplace that's had this?
