I now have a slight cold and am afraid I'll have to postpone my GTT. I've read that a cold can raise glucose levels. Does anyone know if that's true?

Coravh 01-06-2008, 08:35 PM It will if you have diabetes. If you don't have any glucose impairment, then your blood sugar should remain in the normal range. Cora tigger67 01-06-2008, 08:44 PM I'm being tested for hypoglycemia. Will it affect it then? Coravh 01-06-2008, 09:11 PM I can't say for sure, but my guess is probably that it won't affect anything.
