I now have a slight cold and am afraid I'll have to postpone my GTT. I've read that a cold can raise glucose levels. Does anyone know if that's true?

It will if you have diabetes. If you don't have any glucose impairment, then your blood sugar should remain in the normal range.

I'm being tested for hypoglycemia. Will it affect it then?

I can't say for sure, but my guess is probably that it won't affect anything.
