I got weighed today and nearly died when i saw how much i weigh now 14stone this is not good at all how am i going to sort this out cant just be from eating and metformin help am really tired all the time too had A1c done today why did doc ask me if ive lost weight i want to but am tired irritable cant do anything no energy motivation ect just feels like someone has pulled the plug out of me i feel drained.:confused::confused::confused::o :o:o:mad::mad::mad:

Food for thought: Have you had your thyroid tested? Being so fatigued makes me wonder if you have hypothyroidism. Just a thought....

Hello, I am new to the board and just saw your post. In addition to having your thyroid checked, I would also ask your doctor about a sleep study. I literally could not get out of bed in the morning, and would fall asleep sitting on the side of the bed. I was so mean at work that people were scared of me. I found out that I have sleep apnea. I also tried to tell doctors that my weight couldn't be just from eating. It turns out that I was carrying about 130 pounds of water weight. Please don't give up.
