About 3-4 days ago i noticed a small (about half a dime in size) red bump on my inner left butt cheek. At first i ignored it but it has become uncomfortable and has leaked a few times. It has no puss that i can see but it obviously has blood. It really doesnt stick out too much from my skin its a very small bump and the bump is not hard at all, feels like it has a little blood in it. It has become semi uncomfortable to sit. I think it may seem worse to me because of the location but i will note that i am a bit heavy set and have a bigger butt and its not close to the actually anus, just barely on the inside of where the cheek meets the fold in. I also believe it has popped because of its location. I have been cleaning it with antibacterial and i hope somebody could be of some help. OH and it could be because i cut my cheek about a week ago trying to get rid of some hair down there, i used a buzzer and it kinda caught wrong. Any and all help is appreciated.

Hi..it could be a boil...or it could be the start of a fistula. I suggest you get it checked out by a doctor.
If it has infection...it's probably staph and can be spread, so be careful when you wipe pus or any discharge. Also, make sure you aren't sharing towels, etc...
Sitz baths in salt water might help draw out the infection. It's good you're keeping it clean. Do use a dressing on it to keep your clothes/sheets clean. Probably an antibiotic ointment would be good too.
But, I do still suggest you see a doctor....at least the first time..to get a swab done, meds and proper info regarding what it is and how to deal with it if it comes up again.

OK gonna give it a little more time. I am now pretty sure it is just a cut that was aggravated or something. I used an antibacterial for the first time and covered it afterward and it is already showing signs of improvement and the bleeding has stopped. Blood was probably from the spot its in, since whenever i would sit i guess it would rub the scab.

Just keep an eye on it...and if it doesn't heal, see a doc for sure.
