I'm curious to know if any of you acid reflux sufferers ever experience pain in your teeth during one of your bouts. It seems whenever I have a bout of indigestion (or acid reflux), I get this awful pain that stems from the upper middle of my stomach into the esophagus and then seems to radiate to my back tooth.

I do get sensitive painful teeth with my acid reflux. I went out and bought sensidine tooth paste and that seems to help.

Hi,this is usually the first symptom I get when I get an "attack",sudden onset severe pain in right lower teeth then radiates from shoulderblade into neck,visious stuff,I find chewing ice helps my symptoms,this pain by the way is known as refered pain,:)

I have painful teeth but that is just one of my symptoms, about three years ago, I was having symptom of what I would eat would come up in my throat and it would feel like it would not go down, so I would to the dr, and I told him how I feel, and he say it is acid reflux, well he put me on nexium and for about six months I take it , and I started to have all kind of symptoms,back pain , abdominal pain, pain in my left and right ribs,the pain radiate to my teeth,* so I would go to the dr, sometime two time a week, and it was test,test,test, and nothing, so this week the pain in my stomach was so bad and it would not* stop so I went to the ER, and the dr. on call said something was going on , so he put me in the hospital, I told the dr. that I have had all the tests you can think of for my symptoms, or that was what I though, so he had me to go for the IG xray,and it take about one hr. for the test, and it showe that one of my small intestine was not as big around as some of it was , and so he said when I take the nexium it would show down my food and when it got to the small intestine, by it being just a little then it should be make it go in and stop and that is what make the pain so bad and all the gas that I was having, I have gas twent four seven , and the bloating, belching and stomache issues.so he told me to not never take any kind of ppi, it was make me like this.he said I have had the small intestine all my life, anyway pain like in your back,stomach,side,left and right, and pain in your teeth, is not all way acid reflux,* go and get a up-GI xray, and see what is going on, a endosxopy,or a ct scan or a colonoscopy and blood tests,ultrasound will not showe it, I not saying that what happy to me everbody is like that , it is so bad to have something that make pain in your teeth that you eat one or two day ago.I hope that I have said something will help you.
