I have been having gas pains for about 2 weeks. Not severe but I feel like there is water in my rectum. Then I have to go to the bathroom and get ribbon like stool, and a lot of gas in which when I am on the pot (sorry to go into detail) I pass gas and it feels like somethings coming out but isn't. I've had bad stomach cramps since 6th grade and have even passed out from them. I got a colonoscopy and upper GI which revealed nothing. They took a biopsy and it came back unremarkable, I had a stomach scan, and also ultra sound in which they just found a small polyp on my gallbladder but said it was fine. What is the deal. ANy help out there please?

Most gas is caused by swallowing air but it can still cause spams and cramping as it passes through your colon.
Spams and cramping can bethe result of lack of magnesium in your diet??
