View Full Version : Internal Trembling

In the past three months I have had several days (not consecutive) where I have felt internal trembling, chills at tmes, and a feeling of an adrenal rush that lasts all days. It may be anxiety but anxiety meds don't help it. My doctor is checking out my thyroid, though it has always been fine. Once when it happened at work, I had the nurse check my blood sugar and it was fine. Do abnormal glucose levels mimic these symptoms?

Do you drink a lot of alcohol?
Do you eat well, and regularly?
Are you getting enough sleep?

They can, but unfortunately the symptoms are vague enough that they could be due to anything. Do you drink a lot of caffeine? That could be it too.

In response to the posts, I have always been a huge coffee drinker, but this only started recently. I do not drnk alcohol, eat fairly well, and sleep about 7 hours a night, but a lot more on weekends. It doesn't sound lke hypoglycemia then?

Miss, may I ask your age?
You may just be timing out on caffeine which would account for those symptoms.
Also, you may wish to test your blood a few more times with a home meter.

But again, Cora is correct, they may be a variety of causes for your symptoms.

I hope you get to the bottom of this soon.
