For the last several years, i had constant pain on my upper stomach which is minor enough that i don't notice it most of the time. Only time pain went away was after appendicectomy do to appendicitis. I don't smoke, blood pressure is normal,no diabetes and my BMI is 22.4, which is normal(166 pounds,6'), but i do eat fast food a couple of times peer week and drink lots of soda(2-3 times per day). I'm worried that it could be something serious, such as Angina, so what exactly is it? FYI, the pain started when i bended my upper body.

Here's a question for you. HAve you tried taking anything for it? Like prilosec? Try taking one of the otc stomach meds. If the pain goes away, then you know that it is probably a stomach, gastric issue. I highly doubt that it is angina. My hubby has it and that doesn't present itself as angina at all. My guess is that you have some upper GI issues. Have you talked to your doctor about it?

Have you had an ultrasound of your gallbladder? If you are taking something to control acid and still having the pain, you may want to talk to your doctor about checking out your gallbladder. Good luck and hope you feel better!
