considering the locations of the organs themselves from one another,i would think the area where you are actually feeling the symptoms that it is closest to would be the most likely to be a possible suspect.the GB is way up(very upper right abdominal quadrant) almost into the thorasic area and sometimes can even present with very real LEFT sided chest pain or pain right at or above the mid to upper ribcage, while the appendix is located much further down and into the lower right quadrant.the pain of a possible appendix issue is usually a more localized type of pain with rebound tenderness, which is pain only when the area of pain is pressed then let go.that is when the real pain hits, when you let go not while pushing in.have you seen your doc to have this evaluated at all yet?just running some simple lab work could show, mostly if the GB is involved since it can affect the liver enzymes among other things that would change when the GB is not running up to par or a duct is blocked by a stone or something.you really do need to see your doc in order to really find out whats up.anything you learn hear would merely be a guess at best.your doc needs to be able to run the labs and also do a thorough abdominal palpation of all quadrants checking for any abnormalities within any of the organs.this would be the best way to try and figure this out.what symptoms are you actually experiencing at this point? For whatever it's worth, my opinion is that both of these things can be deceiving. If you're thinking you have either, you probably need to see a doctor. I have had gallbladder disease. The pain was right under my breastbone. My daugher had appendicitis and the pain was around her belly button. I think each person is different and you probably need to be evaluated.
