Hello after a few years of good progress on prozac my old anxiety symptoms started to come back

Well my dr did something strange he LOWERED my prozac dose and added in a new med called trazodone? anyone else use this? how effective was it for you?

Why did he lower it if you are doing so well on it? maybe he is trying to slowly get you off it? I don't really know much about Prozac, since i never been on it, but he probably wants to see how you do on a lower dose of it and supplementing it with something else.

he thinks after being years on prozac that all of a sudden its built up in my system and its actually making my anxiety worse he seems convinced lowering my dose from 80 to 60 will work

of course I will listen to my dr and do as he says like i always do

But would like to here others that had this done to them ?

I have never been on trazadone but have heard many good things about it.
