This is unlike anything I have ever felt or read about....

When I wake up I have backpain. My back feels stiff and my spine feels sore. The pain goes away by itself after 20 minutes. This is with 8 hours of sleep.

Here is the strange part. If I sleep lets say 4 hours, I am fine. If I wake up 6 hours I feel a little bit of strain.

What is going on!!

That's actually not that weird. It's likely related to lying still and getting stiff for a long time. I wake up a little stiff most of the time, really stiff and sore if I sleep late.

A morning backache is pretty common. It might be as simple as you needing a new mattress, or maybe just throwing a foam pad on top of your mattress will solve it. Stretches in the morning should make your pain go away faster.

If simple measures don't help, or if it gets worse, ask a doctor.
