I fell on my left wrist 6 weeks ago, I have bad pain in the "snuffbox" especially when I bend my wrist toward my thumb. Xray and MRI showed negative for scaphoid fracture. They diagnosed me with tendonitis, but I haven't had any swelling. My question, is it possible for a doctor to miss this type of fracture on MRI? He is a NP - should I get a second opinion? It just doesn't seem my symptoms are tendonitis. Thank you
