i have already tapered on xanex and went 3 days with out any and took half a .25mg last night , was felling really bad .. but my question is do chest pains go along with withdrawls ? i know shortness of breath does and headaches and dizzyness ........ just wondering if anyone else had any while getting off of benzo's ?

Hi, I weened from 8 mg's of Xanax a day to 2 mg's. If I stop cold turkey I get terrible withdrawal. The chest pain might be from the anxiety you get after weening. People can still get some withdrawal even if they go off them slowly so you might have some anxiety, after all, Xanax is for anxiety so your body knows it is not getting the usual dosage. My Bro does get some chest pains though so I think it's pretty normal for that to happen. Hope this helps.
