Ive been dating this girl for about a year now. yesterday during a conversation in which we drinking she revealed that she had HPV and had two lazer surgeries and that she havent had a outbreak in 7 years, i am really concerned and wonder if i have been infected.

You may have if she is still carrying the virus. Some professionsals say the body can clear the virus, some say the body can suppress the virus but never really goes away. The only way to know if she is still a carrier is for her to get an HPV test, and that usually only tests for high risk strains.
Keep in mind though, that about 80% of sexually active people will contract some strain of HPV in their lifetime. That's how common it is.
