I was told about a year and a half ago by my GP that I had a Morton's Neuroma in my left foot. I had a lot of pain and cramping in the bottom of my foot just below the ball of the foot. He told me to switch to new balance shoes with a spenco innersole, and see if my foot pain improved. Other than when I have worn dress shoes with heels, I haven't had any problems. Even on vacation in Oct. when we walked several miles every day for 8 days in a row I didn't have any pain.
Now for about the last 2 weeks I have had a cramp like pain(like a charlie horse, but not that painfull) that goes from the middle of my left foot, just below the ball of my foot, and goes towards the inside of my foot and kind of goes up to the side of my foot (by the front of my arch). It's not constant and mostly happens when I am sitting down. I walk barefoot or in socks all the time at home, I have tried to keep my shoes on in the house, but it seems to make no difference.
Is this still caused by the neruoma, or is it something new? Thanks for any info you can give me.
