I have had arthroscopic surgery 5 weeks ago. 10 days after surgery the Doc. drainded 60cc's of blood of the knee, and said that was only 2/3's of what was in there. I can not lift my leg off the bed at ALL. My pt specialist says it is like my quad muscle is paralyzed. This was not mentioned as a complication before surgery. Has anyone ever experinced this before, I am scared it wont ever returned!!

Here is something you can try to get it going. This worked for me when I had trouble. When you are doing those quad exercises where you try to tighten the quad and press the knee down look at your good knee. Your brain picks up visually what it is you are trying to do. I couldn't get mine started without doing this. Hope this helps.
