Ok, so I know I have extreme anxiety, but still don't know what triggers my attacks or what makes me so sick out of no where. I do however know one thing: I worry about my health 24/7 and wonder if I am going to die or not. I can't take living like this, I have did it the past 7 months and it's disabilitating. I am 17 years old and feel that I am wasting all of my time worrying. I am a heavy athlete and that's my life, and I am being drawn away from it more and more because of my anxiety. I also get really bad stomach cramps everytime I have to go see a doctor and end up in the bathroom because I have to make a BM and I feel as if I am going to pass out. I get pass out spells to normally from stomach cramps in which they can't figure out if they are seizures or just vasovagal syncope. they say I am not going to die and I am physically VERY healthy, but I feel like there is something horribly wrong with me, and I can't beat it. I have had the whole works of tests and every doctor tells me I am fine, and even if I do have rare seizures or vasovagal syncope that i'm not the only one and you can't die from them. What is my deal. I ask that you PLEASE take the time to reply, because I am in need of help, I want as many replies as possible to ease my mind because this is one of the only thing that helps is talking to people who experience the same thing, with anxiety. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated

Hi Anders,
My advice is to watch what you are eating & what drugs you might be taking.
There are people, like me, who are extremely sensitive to many things in our environment. In the past I have gone to the ER with symptoms like yours, and the doctors usually could not find anything wrong. From my own research I have figured out that I have panic attacks. One of the ways I help myself is to take deep breaths when I feel the racing heart beat & the urge to have a BM.
It really has helped me to prevent the attack from getting worse. Stay away from caffeine and other stimulants, even intense movies or tv shows.
Please try to find out from a physician if there is anything physically wrong and at the same time work on maintaining a healthy, low-stress lifestyle. (Just recently I went to the hospital ER with chest pains & they discovered that I was low in potassium, which can be life-threatening. But i wasn't having a heart attack.) It is important to have a doctor that you can communicate with & that will work with you to get you healthy, not just prescribe a drug!
You can do it.
Best wishes to you. May you have better health soon!

You need to treat the cause rather than the symptoms you are experiencing as the result of the anxiety <IN MY OPINION>. Anxiety and panic are caused by automatic and inaccurate thinking patterns you have developed that need to be changed. One you are able to identify the common thinking errors you are making and begin countering them daily you will retrain your brain to think more objectively rather than irrationally which is what cause your problems. I had bad anxiety and panic before I learned CBT and I recommend that if you are willing to put in the effort that you help yourself get better by joining a CBT group or reading some CBT books like the one by Sam Obitz and start doing the exercises like the TEA form everyday. It is hard at first but as you begin to make progress it builds and before you know it you wont be a worry wart any longer. Good luck!
