Just found out I have to have surgery again for the third time on the same tendon. I had surgery the first time for torn brevis tendon and tightening of ligaments. Eight months later I had surgery to again repair tendon(different dr)and my heel shifted. During my recovery I was in the walking boot and in the grocery store and slipped and feel on something on the floor. Now the tendon is tore again and needs surgery. I cant believe i have to go through this all again!! I dont know what to think! I told the Dr. I cant do it again untill june because of my job I work in the school and dont want to miss work. But I dont think i could do it again untill at least then for physical and mental reasons!!!
Thanks for listening

I'm sorry you're going through all of this. I know how stressful it can be to get incapacitated over and over again. My prayers are with you, maybe the third time will be the charm.

Thank you!! Me too!!! I tried to do everything right and a little fall in the grocery store messed it all up. Somebody acctually said to me well maybe you shouldn't have been in the grocery store with your walking boot. Are we suppose to sit around and do nothing??
Hope all is well with you

I can relate also. I have had 3 surgeries in the past 16 months. And no, we are not supposed to just sit around. They call it a "walking boot" for a reason!
My prayers are with you. Keep posting!

I know exactly how you feel.
I had the same first two surgeries you had, and now may be facing a third, only this time, on my other foot for the same problem.
Aghh. Feet are awful to injure. :/
I'll pray for ya, surgery is such an awful thing to go through!

Yeah, I have had three surgeries on my foot and now I am looking at peroneal tendonitis in the same foot. If physical therapy doesnt heal it, another surgery is probably needed. I still have the other foot to go. I know how hard this is, it just feels like I have been in a viscous circle of recovery forever! And I am only (just truned) 19. It is hard, hand in there everybody.
