Hey everyone.

Im new and have a quick question. If this is the wrong forum then I apologize and hope you can point me in the rigth direction.

I am starting my Respiratory Therapy program in a few weeks and was told I need a medical dictionary and a mercks manual. I was wondering how many people have these on some type on palm pilot and if so what kind? Or if your old fashioned and carry the books. I have plenty of books and thought this may be easier to carry and locate what I need faster.

I don't know if they're available on a palm pilot, but you really won't need to carrry them around. They'll be a reference for you at home while you're in school. Once you're working in the field, those resources will be available in the hospital where you work.

You're going into a great field! I worked in Respiratory Care for many years, but have now had to let my license expire due to severe back problems (not related to work). I loved it and really miss it!
