I was recently told that part of my cerebellum sticks out below the bottom of my skull. There is a surgery that could repair this. Can anyone tell me what this might be called? I have balance issues and lots of headaches. Is there a name for this?

It's called a Chiari Malformation when that happens. Chiari was the name of the doctor who first discovered it over 100 years ago.
