how long you live with heart failure
Hi
I take it you mean, how long do you live following a heart attack?
If thats your question then the answer is, your expected lifespan will not be affected, that is of course if you follow the simple guidelines.
1- do not smoke
2- lose weight if you are overweight.
3- do more exercise, (30 mins a day at least 5 times a week)
4- cut back on high fat foods
5- cut your salt intake.
6- avoid stress if possible
7- learn the art of relaxation.
8- drink alcohol in moderation
9- cut your sugar intake
10- cut right down on saturated fats
take care

Actually there are cases of heart failure having been reversed through diet, exercise, and getting off of unneeded medications. There are cases of the elderly living for years with heart failure and there are those who get tickers put in their hearts to keep them going even when they don't want to. Get rid of pop, walk as much as you can, drink water in moderation, get off of pain killers, get off of coffee, no sugar, lots of garlic, mushrooms, A, E, and primrose oil. Eat lots of vegetables, drink tea, and walk walk walk.
