Thanks Moldova for thinking of me. I went to my son's house for the holidays and paid the price of traveling. I love to see my grandchildren, but the traveling had it's toll. The weather was freezing and the storm knocked out power and I wound up in the hospital. I started swelling again and got a lung infection. The fluid was around my heart again and I had to do 1 day in ICU and 2 other days in the hospital. They have to get rid of this fluid in my chest and abdomen some how before I can even think about another surgery. The pain level still remains a 9 or 10. Just like you, something occurred in the first surgery that has left me with this fluid retention and heart and lung problems. They put me on a nitro patch and then turn around and say the heart is o.k. I just don't get it. I also have this bowel retention thing and it is getting out of control. I have seen my doctor on the same day you had your surgery and now have seen an AME that my lawyer and the insurance company lawyer picked out. I hope he sees and recommends the surgery that I need. I hope everyday is better for you. The time seems to drag when you are recovering, but someday you will just look back on it as just something you don't want to go through again.

How nice to see all your replies and support. God Bless you!

Chris, I can't believe what you are going through all over again. I fugured that something is not right about you not being here.
When I got my fluid in chest cavity and lungs after surgery, they put me on massive dosage of Lasic (sp?) I could not believe how much water I was loosing all day/night long. In 3 days I lost 14 pounds! I had no strenght to brash my teeth, to move or open my eyes. But at least it was easier to breath.
Yes, this happened after surgery, i guess that is how our bodies reacted to a long hours under anesthesia. I was told to be very careful with my back since I am not strong enough anymore to go for more surgeries.
I have to tell you that with all my fitness program all my life, always thin, always healthy eater, always very active - this back issues took a lot of me. I even look like I got older so fast lately.

I am recovering; for the last week I have more pain, more stiffness.
By the way, maybe somebody can tell me; I used to have pain going down back of my legs, sometimes sides of my legs down to the feet.
Now i have pain in a front of my legs and inner tigh - do you know what this means? Ohhh, no end.

Chris, stay strong, man, I pray for you. You went through so much, I hope for some relieve for you...

Round, I never got your post. How are you doing? Are you recovering? How is your pain levels? do you feel that you are progressing on your recovery?
Common girl, I need to hear good news:)
