Hi
I am now 21, but when I was younger (early teens, maybe younger) I had recurrent seizures. My body would shake, I would lose my vision and balance. They lasted about 30 seconds. Although, I don't get them anymore. But I get headaches, numbness (left pinky toe, and right upper leg), dizzness.

Is there any reason why my seizures have stopped, but I still have other neurologic problems? Could it be a brain tumor? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your time!

Lanie

If I were you I would see my doctor ASAP and demand an MRI of the head to rule out any abnormalities that may be there and causing your symptoms. Some children are born with tumors that don't become activated until later in life. The fact of your symptoms can be related. My sister has a malignant tumor and she just started having dizzyness and weakness in her leg. She went for the MRI and she found out the bad news. Go and get checked.
