Hi,
I take generic klonopin (.5 mg) one half, when needed.
It acts like a "long-acting" xanax, which is a benzodiazepine.
I think it's a good drug for anxiety.
From what I hear, it's hard to come off of, if you take it for a long period of time, in large amounts. What milligram are you prescribed?
I wouldn't be afraid of it. The right drug can be a "life-saver."
Good luck.

Thank you for your response.

I'm on the same mg. My meds just keep changing and my doctor wants to use it for an "experiment." I guess I'm just nervous. What happens when you take it..I mean does it have a harse effect?

Thank you, I guess I'm just at the point where I don't want to feel anymore out of it. But I have noticed the Klonopin does work pretty fast to calm you down. Any other tips you have though? I mean I took off from work today, but should I have any other precautions, I mean should I not drive if I take it?

.5 mg also. I'm on Buspirone daily but that doesn't seem to be doing anything anymore. I've come to rely on the Klonopin more and it takes the edge off. I haven't noticed any "druggy" feeling at all except I get a little sleepy. I don't think it would affect your driving but ask the pharmacist and it's always good to try a new drug before you try driving or doing anything like that.
