I was at the urologist office the other day and he looked
at the results of my last CT-Scan done on my kidneys.
He said my kidneys look fine, which is a relief.
He said that I was diagnosed having a twisted bowel, and a couple
new hernias. I've already had one bowel resection just last year.
I'm in terrible pain in my lower abdomen, lower back, lower right and left
sides. This pain has been going on for months now. I am nauseated,
and my insides feel like they are literally on fire at times. I've been having major heart pulpatations for weeks now, and went to the E.R. not too long
ago thinking I was having a heart attack.
My doctor is waiting on my reports from other doctors. I thought for sure she would go ahead and refer me to a gastroenterologist as the E.R. suggested on Friday, but she didn't. She wants to wait on reports from another state etc, before she decides what to do next.
I'm in pain, and I'm scared. I think they are making me wait, when they shouldn't. I don't know what to do. If the pain does not let up, I may end up at the E.R. tomorrow making them do something for me.
I know a twisted bowel can be serious in some cases, and this has me scared, especially when I've had one serious abdominal surgery, bowel resection, and gall bladder surgery.
What would you do if you were me?
Please help?
Any help appreciated.
Hugs
