hi
i've had some kidney problems since 2000.

basically, my left kidney works 15%, right seems to
be fine. over the last 3 years both my sides & stomach
have been in pain.
a couple of months ago i started getting chest pains,
went to emergency, they checked my heart out
& said things were fine.
last week doc gave me some omeprazole to see
if this solves the chest pain. this seems to help.

i've read a lot of the posts in this section.
i'm now beginning to think that stomach problems
such as acid reflux may be the cause of my aches & pains.
i'm going to the doctor again this week & will ask him for
further tests on acid reflux in my stomach (i assume
i should ask for an endoscope test?).

i've also read a few posts that suggest maybe the gallbladder
might be another area to investigate, maybe i'll ask the doc
about that as well. before the chest pains, the main pain
was in the right side, just above the pelvis (my good kidney
side) which i read might be gallblader symptoms.

i tend to eat pretty healthy, but ocassionaly have beer,
junk food, etc, but this does not particularly bring
on any stomach problems. so i don't think anything
i eat effects my stomach.

sorry for the long post, i tried to be brief & i wanted to
ask if anyone has similar symptoms & any ideas what might be
going on. please, after more than 3 years of this pain,
i'm getting desperate!
