I had the laser ablation done on my varicose veins on Friday (3 days ago) They sent me home with compression stockings (30-40mmhg). It is almost impossible to get them on, they actually hurt and seem to cut off circulation in my feet, and I can barely walk because they dig in behind my knees. They are also bothersome on the thigh area because of the bruising. I contacted the doc and he doesnt seem concerned. I cannot do this for 2 weeks. I went to walgreens and bought anti-embolism stockings in 18mmhg compression. Will this still provide some support? I am guessing something is better than nothing? Please help!!!!!
