Hello and Good day to All,

I just read an article about a study that has been conducted about Vytorin. Though I do not take this medication I was deeply disturbed to see the results of the study. Very briefly summarizing the study I read it advised,
The drug confers no medical benefit to users. In fact, the pace at which artery-clogging plaques formed within vessels almost doubled in patients taking Zetia (ezetimibe) along with another cholesterol-lowering drug, Zocor (simvastatin), compared to those taking Zocor alone, the study found.
After reading this I was shocked to say the least. I just came across this article today and wanted to share this with everyone.

I saw that report on tv last night. Guess they have known for 2 years. No wonder people try and research the meds. they are prescribed, as you sure can't trust the medical profession. Sad, very sad. :(
