FDA APPROVES NEW DENTAL DEVICE for the
PREVENTION OF MIGRAINE PAIN
AND ASSOCIATED CHRONIC TENSION-TYPE HEADACHE

Mishawaka, IN, June 29, 2001 The FDA has granted marketing allowance for the NTI Tension Suppression System (NTI-tss) indicated for the prevention of medically diagnosed migraine pain and associated tension-type headaches.

In a multicenter trial, the NTI-tss device was shown to considerably reduce or eliminate migraine and associated tension headache pain. It is considered breakthrough technology in that there is, when used as directed, no risk of side effects associated with it compared to many current pharmaceutical migraine preventatives.

.

After just eight weeks of using the NTI-tss:
- There were no side effects and no new pain;
- 82% of NTI-tss users had a 77% average reduction in migraine events;
- Imitrex use was reduced by almost 50%
- Nausea episodes were reduced by 78%
- Light-sensitive episodes were reduced by 66%
- Sound-sensitive episodes were reduced by 68%

I have been successfully using this device in the treatment of TMJ
pain for quite some time. It's great news that we can now use it for
the prevention of Migraine.

I have visited many health boards and different forums in the last month and have seen this device being hawked as being a cure for pretty much EVERYTHING. On the chronic pain forums, on the spinal disorder forums, on the MS and arthritis forums.

What is going on. Does it indeed work for every type of pain?

The NTI-tss is indicated for TMJ problems, tension headaches and the prevention of migraineheadaches. It really works for these things. If somebody on a message board says that it prevents the common cold or some other such nonsense, they have an additional problem.
