my 14 month old has been running a fever for 4 days now i chalked it up to teething but now his gums are bleeding and he has white spots on the inside of his lip and gums what is going on

Could be Hand Foot Mouth Disease. It's a common virus in children. They can get blisters on their hands and feet with it too. My daughter only had them in her mouth though. If the blisters hurt, I heard you can rub Milk of Magnesium on them with a Qtip. Check with your ped. first of course.
