I am in my early 20's and just had some questions.
I don't have a problem going to the bathroom when I need to,
but usually its only like once a week? Is there anyways I can
get my bowels to work again right? I have had medicine in the
past and have seen a doctor. My Bowel problem is better then
before, but just wondering what I can do to prevent anything
bad (cancer, diseases) in my colon/digestive area
and if any colon cleansing actually works well enough?

Thanks

Hi,

I too was in my early 20's when I started having the same issue. I finally went to a Gastro Dr after many episodes of going two weeks w/o a movement. For me, the end of the two weeks ended in a huge explosion event that was horribly painful. Diagnosis at that time was IBS. Not sure if you have the painful explosion part but watch for that. Anyway to answer your question, drink TONS of water! Also, a glass of prune juice daily and make sure you get the most natural kind. I didn't like the juice so I just started eating prunes each day.

As time went on for me, my issues became worse so try to get things under control now. If you can find natural alternatives, try those first over medication. Hope this helps!
