My wife has atrophy of the fat pad on one heel. Up to the point this happened, she was VERY active. We will try anything to get her walking again. We've tried every shoe insert we can find, but none are soft enough.

Has anybody tried collagen or fat injections on the platar surface? One of the doctors we've been to says absolutely not, but we are desperate.

Has anyone tried silicone injections to the heel?
