I constantly get a strange feeling of pressure and stinging at the corner of my nose near my right nostril, but it feels like its underneath my nose, this just happens to be in line with my front right tooth which is dead but had a root canal treatment about 10 years ago. I am worried that i have an abcess or infection, but there is no pain in the tooth or gum, nor is the tooth loose. So I am confused as to know where the problem lies, all i know that the pressure and stinging becomes quite uncomfortable. Is right to assume where there is infection there should be pain. I am having an X Ray done by my dentist on the 01/02/2008, am I worrying myself, and in the meantime should I see a doctor. I'm from the UK by the way.

Any thoughts?

well it wouldnt hurt to see your doctor about this as well as your dentist
it could be asinus problem which the doctor be able to tell you and sort it out ,if it is a dental problem i would think the doctor would be able to tell you

nose throat ears are all conected so a problem with teeth ,nose or ears could be affected by one or the other so to find out which is the problem a doctor should be able to tell you and advise you to see a dentist if thats the case

good luck
