My 6 month old brother has RSV. It showed up Thursday night, we took him to the Ped. Friday as soon as possible.We have been giving him breathing treatments every 4 hours since Friday morning. Now he has a high fever and has vomited several times. The Ped. said it would get worse before it got better but didn't say how much worse and what things to look out for. Especially because they don't say much about vomiting. The things we are finding on the internet are really inconsistent, so if someone could let us know.
We don't want to take him into the ER if this is just the worse part.

Take him to the ER if the peed is not available to talk to. Better to go and not need it than be sorry. Just go and don't feel stupid. You are a mom and that is what the ER is for. Good luck.
