do you take it before breakfast, after breakfast and what are your results? do you think you have less side effects? i am just starting today and would love to know...thanks

When I used to take it years ago when first diagnosed, I would take it every morning after I got up. My side effects were terrible, though, since I had pretty much all of them, so I started taking it in the evenings with my final meal, since my blood sugar rose at night anyway, but I still had the same problems. I had to be taken off of it and put on another medication, but I can't recall the name of it.

What are your side effects? Are you having bad ones?

this is just my 2nd day and i have taken it immediately after breakfast. i had some diahrea and cramping after lunch yesterday and lots of gas. last night i had to get up in the middle of the night for some tums (sour stomach) and i felt like i had fever but i was cold. go figure
