Hello ladies, I am not sure if any of you remember me or not but I wanted to share my story with those of you who do and even those who don't. I am hoping this gives you all hope and I hope that by my posting my birth stroy it does not upset any one.
Well here is my story, my DH and I tried for a year and a half to get pregnant with no luck so we decided to get tested. Test came back that DH was sterile. It took a while to get over the heartache of it all but once we did we decided to do IUI with donor sperm. It took us a total of 4 years and 9 IUI's and after all of that I can finally say my baby is here.
We had her on Wednesday Jan. 9th at 5:29 pm. She was 20 1/4 long and the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen. We named her Peyton DeeAnn. At 8:30 on Wednesday morning my Doctor broke my water, at that point I was dilated to 3cm. They checked me 2 hours later and I was only at a 4 so they started me on potcin. My contractions started to come very strong so I decided to go ahead and get an epi. Once I had that the pain was pretty much gone (for a while anyway) At about 1:30 they checked me again and I was at 6cm. By 4:00 I was at 10cm and the nurse wanted me to do a few practice pushes to see how I did. Well I pushed about 4 times and she said OMG you need to stop pushing. She said that I was GREAT pusher and that the baby was starting to crown and she was going to page the Doctor. Well the Dr. was in a c-section and was going to get there as soon as possible but while we waited on the Dr. I could not push. At that point I started to feel the contractions full blown and I was in pain. That went on for 45 minutes and the Dr. finally showed up and I could push again. It took 2 pushes and my baby girl was here.
It was the most amazing experience I have ever had. The second I saw her I was in love and I knew that everything DH and I went through to get her was worth every second of our time every bit of heartache that we had to suffer and every penny that we spent. Being a Mom is the most rewarding experience I have ever had and it has only been 11 days. All I have to do is look into her eyes, see the smile on my DH face and I know that everything is the way it should be.
Never give up ladies, I cannot even remember how many times I wanted to give up, how many times I thought it would never work and it did. And it will work for all of you. I know it is hard, trust me, but once you get yor little budle of joy nothing else matters.
I hope that all of get BFP's very soon, you are all always in my prayers and I will keep checking in from time to time to check in on everyone.
