Has anyone on the board traveled to Mexico for cosmetic dentistry? If so, would you recommend it?

I went this route for some simple cap work for my mother who is uninsured and may do so for myself as I need an implant and MetLife does not cover that on my plan. I am on here researching pros and cons. Here are the things I looked for

1) English speaking
2) Practicing in a town/city with a large ex-pat/ U.S citizen retiree population
3) a good reputation amoung the retiree population and thus likly to want to maintain that reputation and provide good service to Americans.

I went to Merida in the Yucatan and we had a great vacation and great dental work. For me from the East coast flying to Yuma or El Paso would have been more expensive, longer flight with two connections and much less fun. Hope that help others.
