I suffer from daily headaches and I would like to become pregnant very soon. I have TMJ problems and I have been taking Lodine. I know that I can not take this while being pregnant. I can not function with out pain medicine.
What is out there for me to take while PG? I know that Tylenol would not be a good idea to take for 9 months straight.

I would suggest that you try the alternatives in pregnancy. Acupuncture and homeopathy are excellent alternatives and cause no problems in pregnancy. They can help you to have a happy and health pregnancy also.

Maggie:
i suffer from migraines and daily headaches ever since the age of seven. I was on vicidone, phenergan, and demerol for them on a constant basis. Well, now ia m in almost 8 months pregnant and the headaches totally eased up..and get this..it only takes two tylenol now to get rid ofmy migraines!! YOu could be suprised how pregnancy can change your body. I was worried too..but the baby is all worth it and besides if i can get off all those medicines that helped the bad headaches and switch to tylenol and phenergan only, i am sure you can! take care!!

maggie.....my headaches started in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy and i still have them now 6 months post.
just to let u know.....talk with your OB cause there are several meds u can take while pregnant that u may not have thought you could if it comes down to med therapy and nothing else works. let me know how everything goes and hopefully the headaches subside. im being checked for pseudotumor now.....when once they thought my headaches to be hormonal from the pregnancy....so just a heads up...headaches may worsen with the hormones of pregnancy.
good luck
its a girl on this end too!!!
