My 13 year old daughter has been suffering a pain in the head for just under a year now. Doctors have no idea on what it is, and quite a number of tests have come back with no answers, including lumber puncture. She gets sharp pains in her head sometimes and she can only tolerate a few hours of activity until she needs to lay down(which helps). Pressure also helps ease the pain i.e she wears a tightened baseball cap. She has MEN type 2B and NIDs. If anyone has any ideas about this please dont hesitate to reply. Thank-you

Hi,

Have you gotten her teeth checked out to see if her bite is off in her mouth, I had headaches since the age of 13 I am 23 now and it was do to TMJ. Look at the tmj bpard it may be helpful! How is her pain and how long does the pain last? Is it everyday? You need to pinpoint what type of pain it is and maybe you can research it online.

Good luck in finding out what it is

Take care,
Starr

ice pick headaches is a sudden stabbing pain in the head anywhere... and it comes and goes.. also it could be migrane, tension type migrane or a normal headache made worse by panicking... if all has come bk normal i wouldnt worry.. but maybee try and get some more tests done... has she had every single test done?
