I have had a headache for a month now. Mostly a sharp pain in my left temple with pressure around my left eye. The only thing that relieves it is Tylenol Sinus and Allergy. I have seen my doctor and she gave me an antibiotic. I have been taken it for over a week and it seems to have slowed it down a little but I don't think it is working. She has also ordered a MRI. Has anyone ever experienced this sort of thing before? I'm a little worried that it might be something serious.

Anyway, have you gotten your eyes checked? If one eye is farsighted even slightly, for example, it has to work double-time to merely focus objects. This can cause eye pain and redding/tearing of the eyeball on the affected side.
Another thing to think about, do you have jaw pain or does it feel weird at all? TMJ can cause pain in and around the eye socket as well as pretty bad pain in the temple area.
Only other thing I can think of might be some form of tension headaches. If you have a lot of stress in your neck and shoulder area, it can travel to your head as well. If you think this might be it, try some message or acupuncture. Or go see a chiropractor. Just some suggestions, hope this helps!
