DH and I were married when I was 20 and he was 22. I am now 25 and DH is 27. The first 2 years of our marriage we didn't use birth control, but weren't actively trying to get pregnant. After 2 years we decided we wanted to actively try for children, but nothing happened. It was then we thought it might take more help so I began to chart my cycle, take my BBT and use ovulation tests, but still, nothing happened. During this time I got a positive pregnancy test (actually like 5 becuase DH just couldn't believe it) but a week later I went to the dr and got a negative blood test and then my period started that same day. He said it was a chemical pregnancy. Then last March we had an early pregnancy miscarriage and finally made an appt for an RE. After numerous blood tests it was determined I don't ovulate regularly. Then RE saw something on an ultrasound and after a (painful) HSG, it turns out my tubes are blocked from scar tissue (a remnant left from surgery to remove cancer). At this time we are saving up for our first IVF attempt which we hope will take place around June.
