Hi! :wave: I'm PrincessSweetNS (read it like Princess Sweetness..understand it? :D) My name is Geneviève-Angélique, but most people call me Gigi, Genny or Princess. :)

My story isn't all that long, but I'm hoping and praying for a happy ending...for all of us. :)

I got married to the man of my dreams when I was 20, and he was 25. Now, he is 27, and I will be 22 on Monday. When we got married, we already knew we wanted babies. Not just one or two, we want about five or six!!! :bouncing:

So we got started right away.

But.... ever since I first got my period (13 years old) I knew I wuodl have trouble. My period would not only not come regularly, it would miss six or seven months at a time. And when I DID get my period, it woudl last for weeks and sometimes even months. :dizzy:

I went to an obgyn, but she absolutely nothing for me. She could only keep repeating her sick mantra that I was young, I had plenty of time to get things sorted out.

After years of treatment and one particularly eventful appointment in Fall of 2007, I decided "No more." I wanted to be proactive with my BFP. It had already been over a year since first TTC.

I knwo go to a wonderful obgyn, who is an absolute angel. The first visit, he tol dme that I sound liek I have PCOS. To confirm, he set up a bloodwork and ultrasound. He got that done right away. As soon as the tests came back, he called me in and confirmed what I believed. I have PCOS.

Right away, he booked me in a for a surgery to remove a polyp (which had been causing me to bleed heavily for seven weeks) test if my tubes were clear (all clear) and ovarian drilling.

Right now, DH and I have decided to try naturally for a few months before trying Clomid. I am supplementing that with a very healthy lifestyle and acupuncture. :angel:

I'm praying for my sticking BFP by the end of this year. And I also pray for my IF sister, without whom I would still be seeing the evil doctor known as "dracula" and sitting in a corner crying. Thank you ladies, thank God for you. :angel:


Feb14 started Estrace to 'wake up' ovaries and such.
Feb 23 finished Estrace-- breathrough bleeding only lasted two/three days.
Feb24 started ratio-mpa. Should be finsihed that Feb 28. And then waititng for AF.
Mar 6- BFN even AF should have been here
Mar 11- AF has finally arrived!
Mar 15- started Clomid--EVIL PILL-- side effects---extreme mood swings, hot flashes, nausea, some headache and vision change.
Mar 21- started BDing every other day CD 10-16
Mar 26-- O'ed!!! Lots of cramping, pinching, CM!!
Mar 28-- still a lot of CM
Apr 7- appt comfirms ovulation, progesterone level at 74, plannign to hpt Friday Apr 11/08. Fingers crossed for BFP!
Apr 11- BFN. :( Hoping AF won't make me wait---appt Thurs. Apr 17.
Apr 16- AF has arrived!!!! Starting 150mg Clomid Fri Apr 18
Apr 18-- started Clomid 150mg dose
May 2-- CD 17---thinking I may have O'ed CD 15 or so. If nothing happen tomorrow (CD18) I will consider myself in the 2ww! BTW---little to no side effects this round....:confused:
May 17-- AF showed, BFN.
May 20-- Starting third round of Clomid, back down to 100mg dose.
June 2-- thinking I either O'ed yesterday (CD14) or will today or in the next couple of days. Yesterday CM--thin and very watery; cramps. Today CM-- typical O Cm for me, no cramps.

Princess I really understand. Everyone would always tell me 'you're young you have all the time in the world' or 'stop trying, it'll happen'. At least we know early on we have a fertility issue so we have better odds with IVF or whatever we need to do.
