My husband got a MRI I "finally" found a doctor that paid attention. He has degenerative disc disease, arthritis and problems with c3 through 6, one is herniated, one is possible. They are shrinking and drying out and he has bone spurs. So far he really is doing pretty good, pain wise, but its growing. He is scheduled for a mylegram, which rather frightens me. Anyone had one? Are they dangerouos? thanks in advance.

Hi,
Sorry for you problems. I have not had one personally but my Dad did back in 80's when he had neck surgery. It is more of an older test but many older docs think it is gold standard.
From what I understand he may have headaches afterward and will need to be still and flat for about 24 hours, I think. You could ****** for more. It shows where/if nerves are being impinged better than MRI according to some docs.
God bless and good luck.
