Below 35% is consider nonfunctioning. Sounds like you need to have it out.

29% is just below the normal threshold. What symptoms are you having?

Hi Trudi, mine was at 25% and was removed. I was told by my doctor that 25% was dangerous so you might want to get it taken out. If you do, be very carefully about your fat intake and eat small portions of food. The body needs time to adjust without the gallbladder. I wasn't told this and ate anything I wanted, and now I'm not feeling well all the time. Hope you feel better.
