Hello all. I am new here. I have had undiagnosed neuropathic pain for over 2 years now. They have been talking diabetic neuropathy almost the whole time yet Tuesday was my first glucose tolerance test. I feel it was done very unprofessionally and wonder if the results can be trusted. Here are the results: Fasting-94 1 hr-160 2 hrs-152 Now here is the problem. No one told me not to eat or drink 8 hrs before test but luckily I looked up test on internet and was prepared. The technician and I use that word very loosely brought in a small bottle of stuff to drink. She poured about 3/4 of it in a cup of ice and threw the rest away. I guess I wasn't drinking it fast enough for her and she then said that was good enough yet I hadn't yet finished what she did give to me yet. I don't see how it can be an accurate result if it is a 75 mg test and I did not get 75 mgs. Can this cause my test readings to be lower than they actually are. Also I read on the internet that seizure meds can effect test and I am currently taking 4800mg of Neurontin and 1000mg of Keppra daily. Also I just got all my teeth pulled out and haven't been able to eat very much at all. Is there any way this scientific test can be accurate. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you very much
