How does herpes genetalis transmitted from one person to another?

It happens from actually having sex with a person who has genital herpes, whether they are showing symptoms or not. Not from sharing towels, toilets etc.

Ok Thanks. I need to know if some one gets Herpes Genetalis in his life & after that he is normal, but the virus will stay in the body for life. If u have sex with person without a condom or if you perform oral sex, will it be transferred to the other partner?

Once you have it, you have it for life. You may not show symptoms, but it is still in your body and can be transmitted to any sexual partners you have - either orally or genitally. Therefore, you must be sure to tell all sexual partner that you have Herpes, and be sure to practice safe sex. Using a condom is not 100% guarantee that you won't pass the virus, but it helps.
