Hi found out for sure last week i'm bipolor,what will lithium do to me,will it turn me into a zombie,any side effects? Maxx.

No, lithium will not make you a zombie. I don't know why it has such a reputation?
I know one side effect can be excessive thirst. Not sure about any others though.

Lithium may still be the #1 choice for BP mood stabilization....I have taken it with complete success for over 38 years.

Hi, I think it must be an individual thing, Lithium made me feel like a zombie, and I came off it, now I'm on Risperdal which is an anti-psychotic but it is also used for dealing with Mania, plus an anti-depressant.
